Approach

What Therapy With Aria Is Like

I stay collaborative in the room, curious about your world and genuinely open to your input. I'm interested in your strengths, and I'm always willing to try something new if it might help you see things differently, even if it feels a little unconventional at first (yes, sometimes that means props, worksheets, or an activity that seems slightly goofy until it clicks).

Professional Background

I'm a bilingual (English/Mandarin) Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I'm especially drawn to working with couples and families through a systemic lens, and in individual work, I stay attentive to the relationships that shape someone's world.

My work is rooted in collaboration and Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST), which lets me move flexibly between modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailored to what actually fits you.

Beyond the Therapy Room

A Little About Me

I am originally from Beijing, China, and I care deeply about helping people from different backgrounds feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. I laugh easily and often, and humor naturally finds its way into my work when it feels appropriate. Outside of therapy, I enjoy learning and trying new things—whether that means discovering a new trail, listening to new music, or taking on a new climbing route. If you are looking for therapy that is relational, culturally responsive, and open to both thoughtful reflection and creative exploration, I invite you to schedule an appointment. Together, we can begin making sense of what feels difficult and practice new ways of moving forward.
